In December 2015, an Advisory Board to the Innovation Facility was formed to invite top-notch experts to provide the Innovation Facility with feedback and guidance. The board members are experts in Systems Design Thinking; Public Service and Policy Design; Entrepreneurship and Innovative Financing; and Technology Innovation in Development.

She has been a change maker throughout her career, which has spanned both the social and private sector.

Interim Executive Director, Ushahidi

Mr. Daudi Khamadi Were is a Kenyan technology strategist, human rights defender and social activist based in Nairobi. Daudi works as the Director of Programmes at Ushahidi; a technology company born in Africa that specializes in developing free and open source software for information collection, visualization and interactive mapping. Daudi spends most of his time working on innovative ways technology can be used to bring about positive change in communities across the world.
