This synthesis report identifies common and differentiated impacts, responses and coping strategies across the Caribbean Small Island Developing States (SIDS). The report outlines a series of time-bound recommendations to reduce the negative impact of the economic crisis on the urban and rural poor, in the short and medium term linked to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals, and puts forth recommendations for long term measures to build capacity to respond to future economic shocks.
