Guide to Partnership BuildingPublished on 30 Apr 2010 35 pages
This Partnership Handbook is designed to build the skills, confidence and competencies of partnership brokers. The term ‘broker’ is used in this context as a generic term to cover the multiplicity of roles these people are involved with: promoting, building and process managing partnerships of different types and levels of complexity. The term ‘broker’ is defined as: “an active ‘go‐between’ who supports partners in navigating their partnering journey by helping them to create a map, plan their route, choose their mode of transport and change direction when necessary.’’
This Partnering Handbook complements UNDP’s Inclusive Market Development (IMD) Handbook.
