This initiative represents an unprecedented eff ort to carry out a global conversation on the future people want for themselves. For the fi rst time in history, people from all over the world had the opportunity to express their priorities and take them to member states on a global scale, to in uence the intergovernmental negotiations on the post-2015 development agenda.
