Based on UNDP’s experience and consultations, the practice note introduces a conceptual model for access to information. It focuses on: Freedom and pluralism in information; Capacity strengthening, networking, and elevation of standards of media at national and local levels; Raising awareness on rights to information; and Strengthening communication mechanisms for vulnerable groups.
