Impact Series

Building climate and disaster resilience in support of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Given the global impact of climate change and disasters on lives, livelihoods and infrastructure, building resilience is an essential component of sustainable development. UNDP prioritizes work that supports local action to adapt to and mitigate climate change, invest in sustainable energy solutions, and build resilience to disasters. Through this work UNDP encourages and helps maintain progress on Sustainable Development Goals and Agenda 2030.

The Impact Series showcases UNDP’s work across the areas of climate change, disaster risk reduction and sustainable energy. Each publication highlights activities, results, and impacts in specific programmes, and links these results against SDGs.
