Our largest government contributor, Germany is a vital partner in UNDP’s mission to end extreme poverty, reduce inequality and achieve the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. UNDP’s work and the priorities of the German Government converge in many areas, especially in our shared ambition to help countries reach the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through promoting democratic governance; supporting stabilization and conflict prevention in fragile contexts; and action on climate change and the environment.

Germany supports the UN center in Bonn, home to 18 UN secretariats and organizations, all contributing to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs.
