About this series

The world is transforming. So are we.

Imagine a world without poverty. Imagine a world without violence and where we all can live to our fullest potential. What would it take to make this vision a reality?

We are living through extraordinary times, and the world is dealing with challenges that are massive in scale, rapidly growing and not easily remedied.

Founded on the principle of leaving no one behind, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is the response to the realities of the modern world. It recognizes that no individual person, government, UN agency or civil society organization can hope to solve such difficult, interlinked development challenges alone. Real solutions will require us all to work better together, at all levels.

To deliver on the 2030 Agenda, UNDP has laid out a new Strategic Plan that provides the blueprint for a bold and steady transformation of the organization’s work. The UNDP Transformation Series gathers progressive ideas and voices on achieving the 2030 Agenda through UNDP's Strategic Plan. In this series, our staff and partners share innovative approaches, critical thought pieces and real-world results.
