Thailand’s Second National Communications to the UNFCCC

Thailand’s Second National Communications to the UNFCCC

December 19, 2012

The Second National Communication describes Thailand’s national greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory status for the year 2000 up to the year 2004 and contains other relevant information on current and planned adaptation and mitigation measures in the country. As a signatory to the UNFCCC, Thailand has an obligation to report its GHG inventory to this organisation. The report and its research were carried out under the policy guidance from the National Climate Change Committee. Results contain information on the emissions of different sectors, how climate change challenges have been addressed and which areas and capacities need to be improved to ensure a healthier and more sustainable environment for Thailand’s people.
