Minus 2°: Cooling Down the Planet with Both Hands

December 19, 2012

Climate scientists found out that an increase of 2 degrees Celsius in annual global temperature above pre-industrial levels is the tipping point: nothing we do can slow down climate change after that point has been passed. By highlighting what Thai people are doing in their everyday lives to combat climate change, this publication is a collection of articles providing an individual perspective on innovative approaches to reuse, reduce and recycle. Through this initiative, UNDP Thailand provides its policy expertise to Thailand’s cities to partner them in becoming more environmentally sustainable, while ensuring high standards of accountability and transparency. To tackle climate change is not only an issue on the national but also on the local level and every action which results in more environmentally friendly practices can be considered a success.
