Finnish Minister Heidi Hautala visit to UNDP Tajikistan in April 2013, Safarbek Soliev

UNDP works with a wide range of partners including the Government, UN agencies, civil society, academia, media, international financial institutions, bilateral agencies, the private sector and others.

The goal of UNDP is to maximize the potential of partnerships concentrating on the areas where it has clear value added and competitive advantages. This will be accomplished through close coordination with other partners; developing common procedures and implementation tools; strengthening the capacity of local counterparts and government personnel; and continuing to advance effective capacity building, coordination, and collaboration techniques.

UNDP Tajikistan’s innovative programming is only made possible by the personal, financial, and professional commitment of its partners. UNDP’s national and international partners are an integral part of the decision-making processes and UNDP works directly with them on all aspects of the development cycle from program and project design, implementation and monitoring and evaluation.

The Government of Tajikistan is UNDP’s most important partner and UNDP is a proud supporter of Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies who are taking the lead in building a prosperous Tajikistan. UNDP also works closely with Civil Society Organizations, particularly in the area of access to justice.

We thank all of our development partners for their generosity, commitment and resolve in supporting the sustainable development in Tajikistan.
