I'm Daniel Skobla, and I'm contributing to the work on social inclusion of vulnerable groups in the region.

 

My main areas of expertise:

 

  1. 1.  Roma inclusion – data, project development, management and monitoring, qualitative research
  2. 2.  Monitoring human development and social inclusion of vulnerable groups – methods of data collection, project development, mediation, communication with stakeholders

 

My work
 

I’m working with national partners – central and regional governments, municipalities and non governmental organizations (NGOs) – for Roma inclusion in Slovakia. I also provide support to social inclusion projects and initiatives in Central and Eastern Europe.

I’ve been working as scientist, analyst and project manager on issues of human development, social inequalities and ethnicity for more than 10 years. Before coming to UNDP I worked at the Institute of Sociology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences and at the Regional Environmental Center (REC) in Bratislava.
