This update highlights some of the major achievements of UNDP work on anti-corruption in 2008, particularly the major initiatives of DGG’s anti-corruption service area and the activities of regional centres that successfully contributed to building an effective “Service Delivery Platform (SDP)” to provide consistent and coherent support to UNDP country offices (COs) and partner countries. The major steps taken to build the SDP were:

1. Defining areas of service provision

2. Defining and updating UNDP approach

3. Developing content

4. Strengthening the Community of Practice (CoP)
