Individual Consultancy-Data Collection and Analyses

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and identify relevant data sources
  • Develop Survey Instrument/sample frame – for primary data collection
  • Pre-Test of the survey instrument
  • Collect relevant data, from primary and secondary sources
  • Analyze the data, report it in proper formats (tables, graphs etc)
  • Ensure timely data entry
  • Quality Control of Data Entry
  • Provide training on SPSS / STATA and the data sets been established

Period of assignment/services (if applicable): 45 days (starting with effect from signing of the contract)

Please submit your Technical and Financial proposals in sealed envelope to the following address no later than 25 November 2013

The Technical and Financial proposals can also be sent through e-mail at before the deadline.

Important note for email submissions: Please put reference of the consultancy in the subject line. Further, our system will not accept emails those are more than 3.5 MB size. If required, segregate your emails to accommodate email data restrictions. For segregate emails please use sequence of emails like Email 1, Email 2 …. in the subject line. For attachment purposes please only use MS Word, Excel, Power Point or PDF formats.

If you request additional information, please write to the team will provide necessary information within due date. However, any delay in providing such information will not be considered a reason for extending the submission date of your quotation.  All/any query regarding the submission of the quotation may be sent prior to the deadline at the e-mail/address mentioned above.

The envelope should be clearly marked with the name of consultancy i.e. Individual Consultancy -  Data Collection and Analyses.  Incomplete proposals and proposals envelope without mentioning the title and proper reference will not be entertained.

Pakistan's One UN Programme (OP I) was signed on 4 February 2009 in the presence of the UN Secretary General and the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Initially for a two-year period from 2009 to 2010, OP I was extended until December 2012 by mutual agreement of the Government of Pakistan and the UN.
