Individual Consultancy -  Preparation of One UN Programme 2013 Annual Report

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collate information for all outcomes and outputs under each of six strategic priority areas (SPAs) in the form of a coherent and standardized Annual Report. The report will highlight, to the extent possible, the integration of the cross cutting issues in the One Program II.
  • Coordinate with RC office on filling in the information gaps with a focus on outcome and output level achievements and results.
  • Coordinate with the RCO on representation and analysis of financial data related to the One Program.
  • Prepare the report according to guidance provided.
  • Seek comments received from the Resident Coordinator’s office, UN Country Team and key stakeholders and incorporate these into the final report.
  • Provide country statistics, introduction, and discussion on the One Program status in Pakistan in 2013; highlight strategic linkages in the UN Reforms process, document lessons learnt and the challenges in the implementation of the UN Reforms process.
  • Ensure that the report is reflective of the normative orientation of the UN Reforms process and coherence.
  • Ensure that the report is duly edited and proofread, and the text is delivered in a ready to print/publish form.
  • Coordinate with the UNRCO and the graphics designer on the designing and layout of the report, and assist develop ideas for graphics and charts that creatively convey key messages and the report data.
  • Proofread the final layout prior to printing.

Period of assignment/services (if applicable): 30 working days spread over 2 months from the date of the signing of the contract.   Home based/ Islamabad

  2. Also note that our system will not accept emails those are more than 3.5 MB size. If required, segregate your emails to accommodate email data restrictions. For segregated emails please use sequence of emails like Email 1 of 3, Email 2 of 3 and so on in the subject line. For attachment purposes please only use MS Word, Excel, Power Point or PDF formats.

Pakistan's One UN Programme (OP I) was signed on 4 February 2009 in the presence of the UN Secretary General and the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Initially for a two-year period from 2009 to 2010, OP I was extended until December 2012 by mutual agreement of the Government of Pakistan and the UN.
