Individual Consultancy -  Internal Audit of RAHA Project

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Review and analyze all supporting documents and expenditures under the project keeping in view the requirements of audit;
  2. Review that expenditures incurred are in conformity with the approved project budgets and for the approved purposes of the project;
  3. Review the expenditures are in compliance with the relevant regulations and rules, policies and procedures of UNDP; and supported by properly approved vouchers and other supporting documents;
  4. Review the expenditures reported in Combined Delivery Report (CDR) are in accordance with Financial reports and Project Transaction Details;
  5. Review and check the assets and equipment of the project and suggest improvement in assets managements.
  6. Check and review the project petty cash, its supporting documents and its conformity with UNDP DIM guidelines;
  7. Check and review the project’s internal controls and systems and suggest improvements/ratifications.
  8. Prepare missing documents and suggest corrective measures to meet the requirement of supporting documents against transactions.
  9. Assess the overall project structure (HR filing and staffing) for effective work flows and management arrangements.
  10. Prepare the responses to queries received from auditors and provide the necessary documents accordingly.
  11. Provide necessary support to implementing partners i.e. planning and development department and EAD.
  12. To carry out the project closure exercise.

Period of assignment/services (if applicable): 6 months

Proposals/bids/quotations received without reference number in the subject line will not be entertained and will result in the rejection of your submission. UNDP will not assume the responsibility for the misplacement or premature opening of the proposals, when the instructions noted above are not properly followed.
  2. Also note that our system will not accept emails those are more than 3.5 MB size. If required, segregate your emails to accommodate email data restrictions. For segregated emails please use sequence of emails like Email 1 of 3, Email 2 of 3 and so on in the subject line. For attachment purposes please only use MS Word, Excel, Power Point or PDF formats.

If you request additional information, please write to procurement.info@undp.org the team will provide necessary information within due date. However, any delay in providing such information will not be considered a reason for extending the submission date of your quotation.  All/any query regarding the submission of the quotation may be sent prior to the deadline at the e-mail/address mentioned above.
