Description of the assignment:  Conduct of Mid-term Evaluation (MTE) of the project “Reducing Risks and Vulnerabilities from Glacier Lake Outburst Floods in Northern Pakistan” as the National Consultant.

Project name: (PAK/00077650) Reducing Risks and Vulnerabilities from Glacier Lake Outburst Floods in Northern Pakistan

Period of assignment/services (if applicable):  15 days (between November-December 2013)

Duty Station: Islamabad (with possible travel to project sites in Chitral and Gilgit)

Pakistan's One UN Programme (OP I) was signed on 4 February 2009 in the presence of the UN Secretary General and the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Initially for a two-year period from 2009 to 2010, OP I was extended until December 2012 by mutual agreement of the Government of Pakistan and the UN.
