Description of the assignment: 

To Establish Forensic Science Laboratory, Swat:
The Consultant (Operational Expert) will oversee the processes pertaining to the establishment of Regional Forensic Science Laboratory at Swat and to assist UNDP and Forensic Science Laboratory (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police) to plan and execute the operational aspects of the Lab.

Project name: Strengthening Rule of Law in Malakand
Period of assignment/services: 64 workdays spread over a period of 6-months
Location: Peshawar

Pakistan's One UN Programme (OP I) was signed on 4 February 2009 in the presence of the UN Secretary General and the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Initially for a two-year period from 2009 to 2010, OP I was extended until December 2012 by mutual agreement of the Government of Pakistan and the UN.
