Individual Consultancy -  To Conducting pre-intervention surveys (KAP-Knowledge, Attitude and Practices), and Socio-economic Impact Assessment of the GLOF Prone Valleys of Boni and Gollain in Chitral and the Sosot and Darkut in Ghizar, Gilgit-Baltistan”

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a plan of action for the required activities.
  • Conduct six consultation meetings three in Chitral and three in Gilgit with target communities, relevant stakeholders such as government authorities and development partners.
  • Conduct interviews and focus group discussion sessions on the Knowledge attitude and Practices as well as on the subject of Socio-economic Impact of GLOF.
  • Based on feedbacks from stakeholders’ meetings develop draft reports of the four selected sites in Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan, and share with the project team and the UNDP for input and comments.
  • After incorporating the input from Project, UNDP and other stakeholders develop final reports and submit to project team, climate change division and the UNDP.

Period of assignment/services (if applicable): 1st December 2013 to 31st January 2014 (60 days)

The envelope should be clearly marked with the name of consultancy i.e. Individual Consultancy -  To Conducting pre-intervention surveys (KAP-Knowledge, Attitude and Practices), and Socio-economic Impact Assessment of the GLOF Prone Valleys of Boni and Gollain in Chitral and the Sosot and Darkut in Ghizar, Gilgit-Baltistan”.  Incomplete proposals and proposals envelope without giving proper reference on the consultancy and its reference No. will not be entertained.
