Poverty-Environment Action to launch new website as global platform for poverty-environment mainstreaming and capacity development
(29 June 2020) – United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) cordially invite you to the Launch of the Poverty-Environment Action for Sustainable Development Goals Website: https://pea4sdgs.org/
Eradicating poverty in all its forms and dimensions is the greatest global challenge facing the world today. The mainstreaming of poverty-environment (including climate) objectives into policy, budgeting, programming and investments by the UNDP–UNEP Poverty-Environment Action for Sustainable Development Goals demonstrates how improved environmental sustainability can address this challenge and contribute to poverty eradication.
