UNDP Awards Journalists Who Fight Corruption

SAY NO TO CORRUPTION IN KOSOVO

 

In the past years, the Association of Professional Journalists of Kosovo (APJK), the Kosovo Anti-Corruption Agency (KAA) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have joined forces to fight corruption in Kosovo. In this process, the role of media has always played a crucial role.

 

To recognize the tireless effort of journalists to publicly announce corruption issues and to mark the International Anti-Corruption Day, APJK, KAA and UNDP have awarded, for the eighth year in a row, best journalist stories in TV, radio, online, and print categories.

The ceremony was held on 09 December and awarded Best Journalist Stories which were published and broadcasted during the past year to honor and further encourage the earnest work of Journalists in Kosovo.

 

Best TV Story: Jehona Zhitia, RTK

Best Radio Story: Serbeze Haxhiaj, Radio Kosova

Best Online Story: Parim Olluri, JNK

Best Newspaper (two winners): Selvije Bajrami, Zëri and Vehbi Kajtazi, Koha Ditore
