    NEW PARTNERSHIP ON NEGLECTED DISEASES IN INDONESIA

    On 27 February 2014, Indonesia launched a new initiative to increase access and delivery of health technologies for tuberculosis (TB), malaria and neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). The initiative, known as the “Access and Delivery Partnership”, was launched by Prof. Agus Purwadianto, Senior Adviser to the Minister of Health Indonesia, in the presence of over 20 policy makers from government agencies in Indonesia.

    The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Government of Indonesia on Tuesday launched a road map of bureaucracy reform (2013-2017) for the province of Aceh. The province of Aceh became the third in the country, after Gorontalo and Bangka Belitung, to formulate such road map.

    The English version of the 2012 Indonesia Forest, Land and REDD+ Governance Index (Participatory Governance Assessment Report) was launched on Tuesday, 25 June ahead of the UN-REDD Programme’s Tenth Policy Board meeting held in Lombok, Indonesia. This process provides an analysis of the country's current state of forest and land governance and the implications for the Reduction of Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD+).

    As part of our efforts to monitor voting for Role Models for Peace and validate genuine votes received for the N-Peace Awards, technical experts will be running a routine verification process. As of 4pm (ICT) 19 June, 2013, we have temporarily suspended voting for Role Models For Peace so to implement this process.Voting will be live again at 11am (ICT) 20 June, 2013 and will remain open until 3 July 2013.     Bureaucracy reform road map launched in Bangka-Belitung province

    May 22nd 2013 - The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Government of Indonesia on Wednesday launched a road map of bureaucracy reform (2013-2017) for the province of Bangka Belitung. The province of Bangka Belitung became the second in the country, after Gorontalo, to formulate such road map.
