One Day on Earth (12.12.12): Towards a Secure Future for All - Ajmer, Rajasthan

The video, shot on 12.12.12, as part of the Global One Day on Earth project, shows how a pilot project, supported by UNDP, is creating awareness and strengthening capacities of women and children affected by HIV in Ajmer in Rajasthan. As a result of this partnership, a women’s resource centre, the first such centre dedicated to women affected by HIV, has been established to help women avail benefits under various government schemes and programmes; raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, and sexual and reproductive health and rights of women; and develop skills to increase their incomes.
