The project, in partnership with the government of Madhya Pradesh, aims to develop Madhya Pradesh Climate Change Cell into a knowledge management centre to effectively manage and disseminate knowledge related to climate change.

What Have We Accomplished So Far

What Have We Accomplished So Far
  • Prepared the Madhya Pradesh State Action Plan on Climate Change

  • Constituted a three-tier Project Steering Committee under the Chief Secretary; Project Implementation Committee under the Principal Secretary, Housing and Environment Department, and Project Management Unit under the State Project Director

  • Conducted a launch workshop in April 2010 and a networking workshop in July 2010 in Bhopal

  • Organized 11 departmental stakeholder consultation workshops in Bhopal

  • Conducted 13 regional stakeholder consultation workshops at 11 Agro-Climatic Zones district headquarters

  • Prepared a detailed project report on State Climate Change Knowledge Management Centre
