Human Development Training

In view of India's commitment to the Tenth Plan goals and the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), it is critical to train development managers and implementers at all levels of government to not only understand the conceptual underpinnings of human development but also discuss ways and means of operationalising it on the ground.

Responding to this need, the Public Policy and Local Governance (PPLG) Division of UNDP in collaboration with the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions have developed a Training module in human development.

We support three kinds of trainings:

  • Training on Human Development for Administrative Training Institutes (ATIs)
  • Training on Financing for Human Development
  • Training on Human Development Indicators and Statistical Methodology
