This policy study presents a comprehensive analysis of an agriculture sector in the Ajara Autonomous Republic. It examines production and export prospects of a diverse range of products from mandarins to trout, and provides recommendations to increase competitiveness and promote export.  

The research has been commissioned by UNDP under the EU-funded project: European Neighbourhood Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development (ENPARD) in Ajara and has been carried out by Dr. Steve Goss in December 2014 – March 2015.
