Position:              National Ecotourism Expert

Duration:             75 working days (until 01 December 2017)

UNDP Bhutan invites proposals from local qualified and experienced consultants to analyze and consolidate existing ecotourism related works and studies in the country including gap analysis in ecotourism development in the country. This will contribute to the development of a full-fledged project proposal on ecotourism through inclusive means that supports implementation of the 12th Five Year Plan Flagship Programme on “Economic Diversification”. The consultant will receive technical guidance from the National Task Force, and support from UNDP, GNHC and other relevant government agencies.

UNDP Bhutan invites proposals from local qualified and experienced consultants to assess the progress made and impact achieved in institutionalizing the mainstreaming of gender, environment, climate change, disaster risk reduction and poverty (GECDP) into policies, plans and programmes, both at the national and local levels through the MRG.

The consultants will receive technical guidance from UNDP-UNEP PEI national coordinator, technical advisor from Bangkok, Project Manager in the Department of Local Governance, the Gross National Happiness Commission and the Central MRG members.
