Training on results-based monitoring and evaluation for the State Program was held

As you know, United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan Republic in close partnership implement the joint project entitled “Youth Participation in Decision Making and Policy Implementation".

Within this project, “Training workshop on the formulation of results-based monitoring and evaluation framework and indicators for the state program on Azerbaijani Youth” was held in "Khirdalan" hall of "JW Marriott Absheron Baku" hotel on February 19-21, 2013.


The purpose of the seminar is the development of more effective monitoring and evaluation system for "State Program on Azerbaijani Youth in 2011-2015" and other similar state programs, the creation of more effective monitoring and evaluation systems, to strengthen the monitoring capacity of SPAY, as well as youth development and increasing the participation of youth in decision-making and policy implementation at the national level.

Representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture,  and Tourism, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, National Academy of Sciences, Youth Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as of youth organizations like Ireli,  the National Council of Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic (NAYORA) and the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations' Union  attended the training seminar.
