Mr. Niloy Banerjee, Capacity Development Advisor and
Regional Coordinator, Capacity 2015 Asia (niloy.banerjee@undp.org)
Niloy has a Masters Degree in Economics and is a Ford Foundation Fellow
at the City University of New York. Prior to joining UNDP as a staff member,
he has been a consultant with the Capacity Development Group and the HIV/AIDS
group of UNDP and with the European Center for Development Policy Management
in Maastricht, Holland. In earlier jobs, Niloy has been Director of South-South
Solidarity, a regional NGO, and Deputy Director of National Foundation
for India. He has undertaken numerous assignments and conducted studies
for UNDP and other donors and international organizations on capacity
development, leadership and transformative approaches, technical cooperation
reform, donor coordination and harmonization, and strategic planning.
He has been a member of the Reforming Technical Cooperation (RTC) team
of UNDP and has been a core contributor to UNDP's Development Policy Journal
and two of the RTC books.
Mr. Robert G. Bernardo, Programme Specialist, Capacity

Bob has a Masters Degree in Environmental Science, and has a background
on environmental management, coastal zone management and socio-economic
policy/institutional assessment. Prior to joining UNDP, Bob was the Programme
Manager for the South East Asia Technical Advisory Committee for the Global
Water Partnership in Bangkok. He has undertaken a number of assignments
and published reports in the areas of integrated water resources management,
coastal resources management, socio-economic and policy/institutional
assessments in the region.
Ms. Seema Joshi, Programme Coordinator, Regional Environmental
Governance (REG) Programme, a joint initiative of Capacity 2015, EEG and

Seema holds a Masters Degree in International Law, in addition to a law
degree and bachelors in political studies. As part of her experience
with UNDP, Seema has also worked with the Environment and Governance
Practices, as well as the Equator Initiative, which focuses
on biodiversity conservation and poverty alleviation through
partnership approaches at the community level. In recent years,
Seema has worked with community initiatives in Thailand,
Malaysia, India and Fiji. In addition, she has assisted with
an Indigenous Knowledge and Intellectual Property research project
on Access Benefit Sharing through the sourcing and compilation of
UNDP projects globally.
Ms. Pranee Threekul, Programme Assistant, Capacity 2015

Pranee obtained her B.S. and Masters Degree on Public Administration from
Thammasat University, and has been with UNDP since 1997. She provides
programmatic support to Capacity 2015 Asia and assists as well the Asia
Advisors from the Public-Private Partnerships for the Urban Environment
(PPPUE) and the Bureau for Crisis Prevention and Recovery (BCPR). She
has previously worked with the Governance and Poverty Alleviation Programme
of UNDP Thailand.
