UNDP Calls for Adoption of Cluster Munitions Treaty on Global Day of Action to Ban Cluster Munitions
NEW YORK, 18 April 2008 — On the eve of the Global Day of Action to Ban Cluster Bombs, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) released a report condemning the impact of cluster munitions on civilians and calling for the international community to support a comprehensive treaty that decisively and effectively addresses the negative effects of cluster munitions.
