UNDP Calls for Adoption of Cluster Munitions Treaty on Global Day of Action to Ban Cluster Munitions
NEW YORK, 18 April 2008 — On the eve of the Global Day of Action to Ban Cluster Bombs, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) released a report condemning the impact of cluster munitions on civilians and calling for the international community to support a comprehensive treaty that decisively and effectively addresses the negative effects of cluster munitions.

London/New York, 8 November 2007 — Conditions of women in crisis have reached a critical point said UNDP today. The organization’s Bureau for Crisis Prevention and Recovery called for 10 million USD to help women and girls in crisis for the next two years.
