Crisis Prevention & Recovery in Africa

Both natural disasters and wars have ravaged many regions of Africa, causing considerable loss of life and livelihoods. To combat this, UNDP helps countries mainstream natural disaster reduction, as well as prevent, and recover from, armed conflicts through capacity building and the promotion of better governance networks.
